April Advisory - 4/5: In our continued effort to develop EMPATHY in our students, we will be hosting the
MHS People Project. These amazing high school students will present a program to our middle schoolers
reminding them that “Everyone Has A Story”. Students are encouraged to be mindful that their
judgements are often based on incomplete/inaccurate information but can always adjust their thinking to
be more empathetic.

PARCC Infrastructure & Practice Trial - 4/6/17: All students will be given hands-on tutorials to
revisit the use of the accessibility features, and exposure to some sample questions to gain
familiarity with the testing platform. Simultaneously, we will be testing our newly expanded
infrastructure for any bandwidth and connectivity issues.
PARCC Administration - 5/5, 5/8, 5/9, 5/10, 5/11: This year we will be able to have all students
test at the same time beginning at 8:15am each day. This will allow for minimal disruptions and
continuity of instruction during the testing cycle.
