(if you are looking for District Counseling presentations, such as the new Parent Education Series, please access it by clicking here.)
The College Series Presentation for parents of juniors on January 5th was a tremendous success.  It included a presentation by the counselors for parents of juniors, a student panel with MHS alumni currently in college for current MHS juniors and seniors, and a parent panel with PTSA parents who have been through the college process and have much to share about their experiences.  Thank you to all who attended, the MHS alumni who took time out of their winter break to join us, and to the PTSA for hosting the parent panel!
On December 12th the College Series Presentation was geared towards parents of sophomores.  The topic is how to begin the college process and where to focus their efforts this year. The powerpoint can be found under Sophomore Class Information.
On October 13th at 7pm MHS Counseling/Guidance department to presented "The Admission Game:  An Interactive Presentation of the College Admission Process" featuring Peter Buskirk, author, motivational speaker, and former dean of admission.  The turnout was terrific!
